This is the tree from the latest data. Excluded are languages which are completely isolated (stand alone branch length > 36) and languages with less than 10 words available as they bias the results. A few language are misplaced within their subfamilies (Old English, Russian, Polish and Aramaic). Sanskrit gets classified with old Iranian languages which is logical because they were at that time closer than Sanskrit is to the bulk of its today's descendents. Worldwide Language tree
